A Ceili (céilidh) is a traditional Irish gathering.  These gatherings commonly included a group playing traditional Irish folk music while everybody else danced.  A Ceili is often depicted in movies and television where Irish people dance while a small group with a violin and an accordion play the tune.

The Patty Furlong Ceili Band does an incredible job of bringing this traditional experience to people.  The experience is more than just a show. The band shows visitors traditional Irish line-dancing type dances and the crowd then dances as the band plays.  Audience participation lets everybody share in this traditional Irish experience.
